Moore Metal Finishing History
Our family-owned and operated business began as Moore Chrome in the early 1930s chrome plating parts for local industries.  As technology expanded, so did we, bringing us into the 21st century in our recently expanded 30,000+ square foot zinc plating facility in suburban Sylvania, Ohio.

Our Zinc Plating Business Today
Changing our name to Moore Metal Finishing in 1998 hasn’t changed our commitment to excellence.  Although we have achieved preferred status with some of our largest customers, we remain flexible enough to accommodate orders from one part to many thousands. 

Our multiple barrel and rack lines offer a wide range of options for our customers, as we can plate parts up to 24” long.  We offer a wide variety of finishes, plus pickling and cleaning services as needed to provide our customers with a full range of services.

Our reputation for quality and service has enabled us to build a customer base that spans the United States.  Although zinc plating services are available in most major cities, our customers ship cross-country to Moore Metal Finishing to ensure that their parts are done right and on-time.

Our Location
Our location near major interstate highways allows for easy access.  We are located in Northwest Ohio just minutes from Toledo and Southern Michigan and about an hour from Indiana and Metro Detroit.  We offer personalized local delivery services and are also set up to accommodate a multitude of shipping options including package delivery and trucking companies.

Adding On to Moore Metal Finishing
We recently complete construction on an addition that has brought our zinc plating facility to over 30,000 square feet containing five rack and three barrel lines which run on two shifts.  We anticipate that we will add even more production lines in the future.
